A recent Ofsted inspection of boarding at Norman Court Preparatory School has found it to be good over all and outstanding in two key areas (Helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do & Helping children make a positive contribution). The inspectors noted the school's ‘willingness' to, ‘ensure boarding is a positive experience for the children.' Boarders commented that boarding staff are, ‘excellent' and that ‘staff are extremely approachable and respond well to suggestions.' Dad's Away, a forum established to support boarders whose fathers are away serving in the armed forces abroad, was described by pupils as, ‘excellent.'
The inspectors noted that, ‘effective systems are in place to monitor all issues relating to boarding welfare' and parents commented favourably on the care and supportive approach adopted by staff towards their children. In short, children, ‘love' boarding at Norman Court.
