Goat Appeal at Romsey Show
Norman Court was represented at the Romsey Show this year by 2 of our 8 goats. Eddie and Teddie were an instant hit with their endearing baying and inquisitive behaviour. Set in the Countryside area of the show, many families came to say hello and have a go at feeding. The role the pigs and goats play within the ACE programme at Norman Court was explained by Heidi Pedlar, the head of our Junior Department. Heidi is a great animal lover, with a soft spot for rescuing animals in need; Norman's Arc is set to expand with every trip she makes!
The Ace programme is designed to develop pupils' education and understanding of the world beyond the classroom. The pupils are involved in the care of the animals and even saw they building a wattle and daub shelter for the pigs during the summer.
