Forest School Workshop
A sunny winter's afternoon saw many parents and children enjoying our Forest Schools Workshop. It gave an opportunity to find out a little more about the benefits of outdoor education. The activities were not only educational but engaging and fun.
By the end of the afternoon parents and children had whittled willow sticks, made them into charcoal on an open fire, hollowed elder sticks and created their own pencils. They were even allowed to practise their writing skills on the trees! Roasting popcorn provided a happy ending to a glorious outdoor afternoon.
