NCPS has raised £608.71 for Help for Heroes at the Burns' Night Reel. Guests and haggis alike were piped in by Mr McKeown, and the haggis toasted by Major Ed Murphy of the Scottish Regiment, who was also a fabulous caller. The dancing was surprisingly good, given (or perhaps because of) the amount of whisky consumed. Sarah Matthews, who had arranged a reels rehearsal earlier in the week to train the Sassenachs, organized the evening beautifully and with the minimum of fuss. Our thanks to her and the School for a wonderful night.
