We had a visit from a helicopter.  One of our friend's Dad was in it.  We were allowed to sit in the cockpit and pretend we were flying.  It was really fun.

Royal Birthday excitement!

We were very excited to learn that James in Year 1 shared his birthday with Prince Charles, and that the Prince was exactly 10 times older than James.  All of us in Year 1 made a very special card for the Prince, with oak leaf rubbings made into princes!  We got a super 'thank you' back from Prince Charles.
