Day of Dance
Years 5 to 8 were caught up in an irresistible whirl at the school's Day of Dance. Chill January gloom was defeated by the glamour of salsa (Year 8), the glitz of Bollywood (year 7), the beat of African (Year 6) and the dead cool Year 5s with Street. All the children spent an hour being drilled and inspired by Adeela from Wise Moves, a local dance company, who had them performing to their peers to roars of appreciation. Kitchens (and a few dormitories at school) throughout Hampshire and Wiltshire then rocked to reprises for Mum or Matron. A fabulous day which opened the children's eyes and feet to new skills and the joy of dance.
