Guard of Honour for London Irish
Norman Court formed the Guard of Honour at the London Irish v Harlequins rugby match at the Madejski Stadium. Quins won 16-13 and the match was preceded with a minute's applause for the life of rugby commentator Bill McLaren. The Norman Court children watched the players warm up; minus the injured Tom Homer, an Old Northavian. Having played with Digger the mascot and the giant leprechaun, the children stood either side of the Players' Tunnel to wave London Irish onto the pitch, but sadly not to victory this time.
